News coverage from the Blackpool Tramway from the winter months of 2008/2009:
Winter 2008/2009 was probably the last 'normal' winter for the Blackpool

If you thought nothing happened in winter - you're in for a surprise! Thanks
to a large number of private hires and enthusiast tours some of the more exotic
trams were used and featured on this programme are:
- Standard 147 and 717 on Santa specials
- Box 40 on an enthusiasts tour to Fleetwood in dramatic lighting conditions
- Extended coverage of the farewell running day for Railcoach 679 with
Coronation 304 out as well - includes 679s last ever trip to Fleetwood and
crossing at Foxhall
- 636 returns and testing starts south of Pleasure Beach
- A rare outing for a Twin car on a private hire after midnight
