    Product description

The 1970 World Cup Finals witnessed, arguably, the greatest exhibition of football from an international team ever - Brazil. For those of us lucky enough to have watched this tournament we will never forgot the likes of Jairzinho, Carlos Alberto, Gerson, Rivelino, Tostao and, of course, Pele.

This limited edition Fine Art Print - from one of football's most famous photographs - features the England captain, Bobby Moore and Pele in a mutual embrace at the end of their group game during the 1970 World Cup Finals. It was a classic game between the reigning World Cup champions and the greatest exponents of the beautiful game the world had ever seen. Brazil won the game 1-0 but the highlight was Gordon Banks' unbelievable save from Pele's powerful downward header which looked destined for the back of the net. The unframed print measures 14 x 11 inches and is taken from the Shoot magazine archive. This truly is a classic moment in footballing history.

Only 5,000 prints will be produced and each one is despatched directly from the manufacturers, bagged with backing board, complete with a certificate of authenticity from SHOOT Magazine.

Shoot Magazine: The magazine that had swung into action in the Sixties soared into the Seventies; had an exceptional Eighties; did nicely in the Nineties and took on a brand new look for the Millennium when it became a monthly.

Now ‘The Voice of Football’ has moved into a new generation by becoming the first football magazine to be available all around the planet on the web.

Football has changed. But Shoot is still committed to the best football information around.

Features that made the magazine famous such as You are the Ref; in-depth interviews, stats, Focus on…and the often-imitated League Ladders have all earned a place in history.
