This is the official DVD review of Blackpool's 2009/2010 Championship season - which saw Blackpool make the 2009/10 Championship Play Off Final, where we defeated Cardiff 3-2 to reach the Premier League! It's the first time Blackpool have been in the top flight of English football for 39 years.

And what a day it turned out to be! Saturday 22nd May at Wembley, Blackpool v Cardiff in the £90 million match. Coming back twice through goals from Charlie Adam and Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Brett Ormerod then pounced at the end of the first half to score what would eventually be the winner. And, after what seemed like an eternity, Blackpool held on through the second half to secure the win which prompted highly emotional scenes as the Tangerine half of Wembley celebrated in partial disbelief. Jimmy Armfield was visibly moved by this wonderful achievement.
