The legendary Jim Clark celebrates home victory at the 1965 British Grand Prix after guiding the Lotus 33-Climax to a dramatic win at the Silverstone circuit.

The photograph from the LAT archives is a wonderful celebration of a true hero. His Silverstone win was one of an incredible six victories scored by Clark on his way to a second Formula One World Championship.
