MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi fulfilled a lifelong dream
when he attended the 2009 Isle of Man TT, and experienced his first lap of the
famous Mountain course with multiple TT winner and fellow Grand Prix great
Giacomo Agostini.
While the trip was a great pleasure for the Italian, it was
also a delight for the many fans lining the course for a glimpse of the racing
hero.
The Doctor took time to acknowledge his fans, and this
striking image of Vale shows him waving to the crowds before setting off on his
lap of the TT course.
The picture, captured by renowned road racing photographer Stephen
Davison is a wonderful way to commemorate the historic moment that one of the
greatest names in modern racing travelled to the Isle of
Man to pay homage to place where the sport he excels in all began.
