The purchase of a ticket to gain entry to the Silverstone motor racing venue (the “Venue”) for the 2012 British round of the FIM Road Racing World Championship MotoGP (the “Event”) constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions pursuant to which Silverstone Circuits Limited (“SCL”) is prepared to grant entry to the Venue and the Event, a full set of which you, the ticket holder, (“You”) have previously agreed to and which are available on www.silverstone.co.uk
01. The ticket is purchased for the Event. The date of the Event / programme/ seat allocation are all subject to change. No refunds/exchanges unless the Event is cancelled. Booking charges are non refundable. Tickets are non transferable and not for resale. If a ticket is resold or transferred for profit or for commercial gain (including as part of a promotion or prize) without SCL’s authority it will become void and You may be refused entry to or ejected from the Venue. Illegible tickets shall be void. Tickets that include a roving grandstand seat for the Friday and/or Saturday of the Event do not guarantee access to any particular grandstand or seat allocation and are subject to seat availability. Seats are only reserved and allocated for the Sunday of the Event. 02. For security measures, You may be refused admission to/removed from the Venue/searched by officials/ filmed by CCTV. 03. Animals (save for Assistance Dogs with prior notice to SCL and any articles that compromise public safety are not permitted. 04. You must not make, create, store, record or transmit any kind of sound recording/visual footage/audio-visual footage/information/other data. Equipment that may enable You to do the aforementioned acts is not permitted. Still image cameras and telephones are permitted provided that any image, film, recording or data created, recorded, or stored thereon is used for personal, private or non-commercial purposes. 05. You irrevocably assign in perpetuity copyright in any image, film recording you make at the Event to Dorna Sports S.L (“Dorna”) and agree that such image/film/recording shall not be used by You for public advertisement, commercial gain or any other purpose (except private enjoyment) without Dorna’s prior written consent. 06. For good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is acknowledged, You grant Dorna and their designees the right to use your image and/or likeness in any live or recorded display or other transmission or reproduction of the Event, including without limitation your rights to publicity or commercial exploitation. 07. Motor racing is dangerous and noisy for competitors and spectators alike. In recognition of such danger, to the maximum extent permitted by law You hereby waive any and all rights/claims that You may now or at any time in the future have against, and release from all liability and agree not to sue and to indemnify and hold harmless each of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (“FIM), Dorna, SCL, the international Road Racing Teams Association and any other entity connected with the ownership and/or organisation of the Event together with their respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, agents, servants, representatives and contractorsfor any personal injury, death, damage or loss of any kind that You may suffer or sustain or cause as a result of or in connection with your presence at the Event. SCL, the sanctioning bodies (including but not limited to Dorna, FIM, the organisers of the Event (including officials, marshals, rescue, medical staff), competitors and drivers, are not responsible for any loss of damage howsoever caused, to You to the maximum extent permitted by law. 08. The MotoGP logo and related marks are trade marks of Dorna. All rights reserved. 09. You must always keep to the designated routes and walkways. 10. You must comply with all instructions given by any official, SCL employee or security personnel. 11. You must not use the name of the Event or part thereof (nor any abbreviation or foreign language version thereof) nor any logo or graphic device of or relating to the Event for any commercial purpose whatsoever without the prior written consent of Dorna. 12. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law.
