The Isle of Man celebrated its unique collection of vintage
transport in 1993 with a whole year dedicated to special events.
Highlights
included double-headers, steam engines on the electric railway, illuminated
night-time cars, visits to the Victorian workshops, sightings of rare freight
trains and a unique Douglas cable car, amongst many other special sights.
There
was also a vintage steam fair, Motorman lessons and visits from Fred Dibnah and
Paul Scholey.
These classic programmes have long been unavailable but have now
been brought together on this DVD which gives a new opportunity to enjoy the
remarkable vintage transport heritage of the Isle of Man, and scenes from
around the railway system which have since vanished forever...
