A whistle-stop tour on wheels of the contribution Britain's railways made to a century of great change - with the world famous wildlife artist and engine owner, David Shepherd as the guide.

The whole story has been shot by TV documentary makers using the latest digital techniques. It includes unprecedented access to the footplate on many of the famous engines, along with commentary from their drivers and firemen.
