Welsh broadcaster Jamie Owen shares his lifelong passion for the sea on two breathtaking journeys around the stunning coast of Wales. Aboard a magnificently restored 150 year-old pilot cutter, Jamie visits the many fascinating islands that lie just off land and discovers some of Wales’ most charming hidden harbours, along a coastline that has been described as one of the most beautiful in the world.

On his first voyage aboard the pilot cutter ‘Mascotte’ Jamie Owen heads for six of the islands that lie just off the Welsh coast. He learns how isolation is a way of life for the monks of Caldey Island, meets the Ramsey Island farmer with a tragic story to tell and the artist inspired by the beauty of Anglesey.
