David Jefferies had talent and character in abundance, a much-loved personality off his bike and an almost unbeatable racer on it.

During his remarkable, but tragically brief, career DJ scored numerous race victories and championship wins.

His determined and aggressive riding style took him to victory in British and World Superstock, as well as at road racing events including the Ulster Grand Prix and Scarborough Gold Cup. However, it is the Isle of Man TT with which DJ is synonymous - smashing records, breaking speed barriers and becoming the first rider in history to claim trebles three years in a row.
