Australian Casey Stoner stunned the world with his performance during the 2007 MotoGP season, taking his stunning Ducati to championship success in a strong field boasting talents like the legendary Valentino Rossi.

In 2008, he battled hard to defend his World Championship title, putting in some amazing performances in a season dogged by misfortune and injury.

The showdown between Stoner and Rossi at Laguna Seca has gone down in history as one of the all-time classic races.
