THE MCL MOTORHOMES MSA BRITISH HILLCLIMB
CHAMPIONSHIP – 2009
Rounds 27 & 28, Shelsley Walsh and
rounds 29 & 30, Gurston Down
Defending British Hillclimb champion Scott
Moran is on a home run as the series returns to historic Shelsley Walsh, and a fortnight
later at Gurston down he seals his second successive title.
There’s no stopping
Scott – or father Roger – at Shelsley as they take a double one/two. They’re
backed up by a scintillating performance from rising star Will Hall in the tiny
Force and a host of exciting racing machinery including David Franklin’s Shelby
Cobra, the rare McLaren M6 GT of Martin Bolsover and the hillclimb debut of
Richard Meaden’s big Aston Martin V12 Vantage. At Gurston, Scott Moran finally
takes the title, veteran Rob Turnbull takes his first run-off win for six years
in a top 12 shoot-out where Peter Marsh, son of the late six-times British
champion Tony Marsh, makes a superb debut with third place.
Featuring driver
interviews and spectacular on-board footage.
