Product description

With nearly 540 entries, this year's Silverstone Historic Festival was one of the biggest classic race meetings in the world. Over 120,000 people gathered at Silverstone to witness the event; now, you can enjoy the most outstanding moments time and again with these official video highlights.
Relive some of the best track action ever seen at the festival as the greatest racing machines from five decades go head-to-head: Formula Fords, Touring and Grand Prix cars; Formula Juniors, Group C Endurance and Historic Sports cars; and for the first time, a variety of classic racing bikes.

Jaguar and Porsche relived some of their past battles in the Group C revival; former grand prix racer Jackie Oliver scooped a brace of victories in the 1960s World Endurance races; the last of the pre-1961 front-engined giants did battle in the Raymond Mays Trophy; while classic bikes from Triumph, Ducati and Norton made their festival debut in the Mike Hailwood Memorial Trophy.

Nigel Mansell and Sir Jackie Stewart pay tribute to the late Ken Tyrrell as some wonderful footage of 'Uncle Ken' unfolds. With packed grids, exciting racing and a brilliant atmosphere, this year's festival reinforced its position as one of THE premier historic race meetings. So sit back, and enjoy three days of magnificent motorsport nostalgia condensed into two hours.
