Product description

There’s action and atmosphere in every minute of the 2012 Motocross World Championship Official Review as you enjoy more than 7 hours of spectacular dirtbike drama, and the full story of 2 thrilling title battles.

This 2-disc feast of MX features highlights from 64 motos as we visit all 16 rounds of both the MX1 and MX2 World Championships. Presented by Paul Malin, the Official Review includes track guides, helmet-mounted camera footage, interviews and, of course, all the vital action from the dust, mud, soil and sand.

Reigning champion Antonio Cairoli had a strong start to his 2012 MX1 campaign, but the hard riding of rivals including Christophe Pourcel and Clement Desalle soon saw his lead under pressure. However, as the season entered its second half Cairoli hit a dominate form which would carry him to victory – his incredible riding has to be seen to be believed.

The fight for the MX2 World Championship proved a showdown between Jeffrey Herlings and Tommy Searle, the British star riding at his hardest to keep the pressure on his Dutch rival. Sharing moto wins at almost every round, the battle between Herlings and Searle is a joy to watch.

There are also outstanding rides from Joel Roelants, Gautier Paulin, David Philippaerts, Kevin Strijbos, Jeremy van Horebeek and Xavier Boog to enjoy.

Alongside the high-jumping, mud-spitting action, the Official Review includes some fascinating behind-the-scenes features, including a look at track design, interviews with the Red Bull KTM factory team, time with the Pourcel brothers and a chance to see how Monster Energy Kawasaki manages the logistics of moving the team around the world.
