Product description

The McKinstry Ulster Grand Prix 2011 produced red hot racing from start to finish, and now you can relive all the vital highlights in the Official Review.

Combining stunning trackside, aerial and on-bike footage with expert commentary and interviews, this DVD features the complete story of a stunning day at Dundrod, and some history-making racing.

Damp conditions may have prevented the record-breaking laps we expect from the World’s Fastest Road Race, but that didn’t make the racing any less exciting. Get set to enjoy all six races, featuring Superbike, Supersport, Superstock, 250cc and SuperTwin.

Michael Dunlop arrived having never claimed an Ulster GP win, but left as man of the meeting and three race victories to his name, including a simply incredible battle with brother William to take the flag by just 0.34secs in the first Supersport run, a feat he would repeat in even more dominant style later on.

Guy Martin endured a frustrating opening to his Ulster GP, narrowly missing out in the Superstock and then losing out to Bruce Anstey in the controversial opening Superbike race. However, a stunning second Superbike ride ensured he ended his day on a high, to the disappointment of rival Keith Amor.

The result of the first Superbike race may have disappointed Martin, but it once again proved the Kiwi Anstey, who overcame dismal qualifying to take victory by almost 5 seconds, remains one of the fastest road racers in the business.

The combined 250cc/SuperTwin race also produced fireworks as veterans Ian Lougher and Ryan Farquhar forced their way to the front, hotly pursued by hard-chargers like Wayne Hamilton, Lee Vernon and Denver Robb.

The Official Review is packed with all this action, plus, you also enjoy Michael Dunlop’s guide to the Dundrod circuit, and, as bonus features, experience complete on-board laps courtesy of Cameron Donald and Ian Lougher.
