Carlos Checa put his reputation for wild riding behind him to take his first Superbike World Championship in style, holding off the young chargers, old rivals and former MotoGP star Marco Melandri to take the title with a round to spare.

Checa’s stunning rides on the Ducati deserve watching again and again, but there’s even more to this year’s Official Review than the championship chase.
