This DVD covers the Birmingham area and the North Midlands and Central Wales. We begin at Nuneaton and Coventry, witnessing both areas before the erection of overhead wires. From Coventry we move to Birmingham and see New Street Station pre-rebuilding. A brief visit to Saltley Station and the Camp Hill gradient is followed by a compilation of trains filmed at Birmingham’s other main line station, Snow Hill. From Birmingham we move North to Stafford on the West Coast Main Line and then West to Shrewsbury. It concludes with some hard working steam hauled trains on Talerddig bank in mid Wales.
