Ayrton Senna Renault 97T (Black) Limited edition Model - Description
As motorsport `Heroes` go, few would rate as highly as Ayrton Senna. Certainly, he was one of Jim’s favourites and when he was lost from the sport, Jim seriouly contemplated retiring. As he put it “I just felt that nothing about the sport could ever be funny again.” It took him a while to get his humour back and he was very keen to include Ayrton pieces when we started planning the `Heroes` collection.
This model is a tribute celebrating one of Ayrton’s most famous wins : his first ever, in the iconic black `JPS` at Estoril in 1985.
The model is a limited edition of just 2000 pieces of each deisgn and are sure to be a hit with collectors as well as popular gifts for motsport fans generally.
