Suzuki at the TT Races 1960-67 (PB) - Description
In 2010, legendary Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki
celebrated 50 years of international racing – a proud heritage which started at
the Isle of Man TT in 1960.
This fascinating book, written by Elwyn Roberts with Raymond
Ainscoe, charts the first seven years of Suzuki at the TT, combining fabulous
photos from the period with well-researched, fascinating and thoroughly
readable text.
Alongside a wealth of rarely-seen archive photos, Suzuki at
the TT Races 1960-1967 recounts the story behind Suzuki’s involvement in each
TT festival of this period, with results, detailed accounts of the races and
wonderful behind-the-scenes anecdotes. There are also profiles of the most
notable Suzuki riders of the period, including Ernst Degner, Hugh Anderson and
Alastair King.
Suzuki at the TT Races 1960-1967 includes a foreword written
Frank Perris, Suzuki team captain from 1962 to 1966.
