Two practising midwives and a midwife/massage therapist have joined together to create this unique massage programme, with the aim of supporting couples to experience the birth of their choice with confidence, equipped with an effective coping strategy.
The LK Massage Programme provides a pleasurable strategy, for first time mums and those already with other children; and is transferable to wherever you plan to give birth to your baby. It offers the birth partner an active role and can be just as effective if considering a waterbirth. The techniques you will learn combine massage, controlled breathing and visualisation. The massage strokes link with the mother’s breathing, promoting a sense of control, relaxation and partnership.
