Giants of Steam VHS - Description
Actor Brian Sterling pays his personal tribute to the giants of a bygone age in a colourful and informative new video about the great steam traction engines.
Filmed at the world-famous steam rally held every summer at Astle Park, in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside, the rally is a steam enthusiast's dream come true with hundreds of wonderful steam traction engines and trucks on view.
Brian talks to the owners about their machines as we see them working in all their full glory including road loco's such as the Davey Paxman 1911 and the Fowler 1925 steam roller, as well as several mighty ploughing machines and a lovingly restored 1921 Burrel engine - the 'Lord Lascelles', one of the truly great showman's engines.
