Millennium Oak Wood VHS - Description
On the 9th of March 2000, the children of the Junior Schools of the Isle Of Man played a starring role in one of Britain’s biggest Millennium events - the planting of nearly 6,900 oak saplings on fields at Ballafletcher in Braddan. It was a unique occasion that is sure to live long in the memories of all those involved.
This video is your lasting souvenir of the day featuring all the main activities including the opening ceremony, planting, singing and music. You’ll also hear from some of the people and children involved and can enjoy reliving the fun, laughter and atmosphere of what was a very special day.
