Pirelli Calendar Video 1991 VHS - Description

The Pirelli calendar is a phenomenon without equal, a product of London's Swinging Sixties that became on of the greatest image makers of the 20th Century. So great that, after unparalleled success in the Sixties and Seventies, the calendar did it all over again in the Eighties, coming back from a 10-year absence in 1984 to even wider public acclaim.

For over 25 years, the Pirelli calendar has been a superstar, equally at home on the TV screens and newspaper front pages of the world.

Published by Britain's Pirelli Limited, the calendar was originated in 1964 by Royal Warrant designer Derek Forsyth, who was its art director until its 'retirement' at the end of 1974. The calendar came back in 1984, this time under award winning art director, Martyn Walsh.

Pavilion Books - with Salem House in the USA - recently published the calendar's official biography. 'The Pirelli Calendar Album", which quickly became an international best-seller. 'The Pirelli Calendar Video" is destined for similar success.
