Vulcan Classic British Jets DVD - Description
The Vulcan Story is a complete film profile of the Britains V-Force nuclear bomber, from the earliest test flights at Avro Woodford to the final flight of the very last Vulcan, XH-558, when it touched down at Bruntingthorpe airfield on 23rd March 1993. Among the rare and dramatic footage included - spanning the Vulcans entire career - is film of the 1/3 scale research prototypes, test pilot Roly Falk barrel-rolling a Vulcan in the 50s at Woodford, a classic roll off the top bombing manoeuvre from Farnborough, quick reaction alert B.2s and film of the 217 Squadron on active service, including air-to-air footage and a squadron scramble. DVD extras include rare material of Vulcans carrying and testing Skybolt.
