British Airshows 2002 is the only way to see all of the biggest and best airshows in the UK this year! All the action is captured by multiple ground cameras, special air-to-air filming, and in-cockpit minicams to put you in the pilot’s seat, plus you’ll go behind the scenes and meet the display pilots.
British Airshows 2002 features a great mix of aircraft both old and new. Vintage aircraft, classic warbirds and the latest fighters are all featured. At the Shuttleworth Pageant, you’ll witness the unique ‘Edwardian’ collection featuring an amazing array of some of the world’s earliest aircraft designs, while at RAF Waddington it’s fast jet action all the way with blazing displays by the F-16, Phantom, MiG-29, Gripen and many more!
At Farnborough 2002, you’ll witness the unprecedented sight of four new Eurofighters giving a formation display, the latest airliners and the fabulous Super Hornet. At Flying Legends you’ll be privileged to see the first UK appearance of the A-36 Apache from China as well as great warbirds including 2 B-17s and the spectacular Balbo.
Yeovilton celebrates 90 years of Naval Aviation with appearances by the Swordfish, Wildcat, Corsair, 2 Sea Harriers performing an ‘aerial ballet’ and the mighty Sea Vixen with in-cockpit coverage.
You’ll also visit a host of other big airshow events around the country and fly in the cockpit of a VC-10 and Nimrod as they take part in this year’s Queen’s Golden Jubilee Flypast over London along with two Canberra’s and two Jaguars.British Airshows 2002
