Summer Heat Summernationals 1990 Duke Archive DVD - Description
Exclusive coverage of the 1990 Summer Nationals at Santa Pod which included the IHRA Pro-Comp Championship for alcohol-fuelled 'funny cars' and dragsters. All the top European drivers were there, including Liv Berstadt (Norway) and Monica Oberg in a showdown that resulted in a new European record. Plus the (then) current European record holder, Pelle Lindelow (Sweden) broke his own record before being bested by Berstadt. Records also tumbled in Pro Comp and Pro Modified, while UK records were broken in most classes including Top Fuel bike.
All in all this was one of the classiest fields assembled during the excellent 1990 season and quite a show they put on too!
