Manx GP 2002 Duke Archive DVD - Description

The Manx GP is one of the quickest and most exciting amateur events in the world.
Raced on the legendary TT circuit, the competition has helped launch many a road racer's career, with the likes of Adrian Archibald, Nigel Davies and Richard Britton all competing in the 'Manx'. Now you can spot the stars of the future in this official review.
Watch local hero Richard Quayle - known locally as the Milky Bar Kid - storm into the history books as the first rider ever to win a Manx Grand Prix and a TT in the same year with a fine win the Senior Manx Classic. There was a tremendous tussle between Barry Davidson and James McCullagh in the 250 class. After 150 plus miles of flat-out racing, Davidson won by a meagre 1.6 seconds! Other highlights include Raymond Porter's win in the Newcomers Race at a phenomenal average speed of 112 mph. This was a ground breaking year for the MGP and you won't miss a second with this exclusive film!
An informative commentary punctuates the best of the action, all captured with fantastic roadside and on-bike camera footage.
The 'Manx' is a great event to celebrate and a highlight of the road racing calendar.
