European Rallycross Review 1987 Rounds 5 & 6 VHS - Description
The intensely exciting 1987 European Rallycross Championship is filmed here at its halfway point, with Division One led by Herbert Breiteneder (VW Golf GTi 16v) and Division Two by Seppo Nittymaki Peugeot 205 T16 E2) after Round Four on the twisty Circuit de Sils in Northern Spain. Round Five at Le Creusot and Round Six at Mondello Park were crucial to all, and this video succeeds in its ambition to bring the very best of action in this fast and furious branch of motor sport. Only two points behind Breiteneder were Peo Davidsson (Volvo 240T) and Jouko Kallio (Saab 900T), while Nittymaki was only slightly more secure with four points' advantage over Olle Arnesson (Audi Sport).
