Three cracking rounds from the 1989 European Rallycross Championship. Rounds 1, 2 and 3, (Spain, Austria and Sweden respectively) are condensed into one action-packed review of dust, rain, mud, bumps, slides thrills and spills. The Scandinavian 'Vikings' and their allies invaded in force with conquest in mind. Against these Northern marauders Trevor Reeves (Ford Cosworth RS500) and Will Gollop (MG Metro 6R4) of old England quickly reminded the invaders that it would be no pushover. The 'old' campaigners Herbert Breiteneder (Austria), Kjetil Bolneset (Norway), Bjorn Skogstad (Norway), Matti Alamaki (Finland), Kenneth Hansen (Sweden), Andres Norstedt (Sweden) and Martin Scanche (Holland) proved to be a force to be reckoned with.
