Introduction

Description

The 1990 season continued where ‘89 left off - ten heartstopping and bodybuckling rounds of carefully calculated catastrophe! The world’s toughest rallycross drivers prepared for hostilities in the sticky, mud-filled trenches of Austria and continued their battles through the dust of France to the greensward of old England. The masters of motorised mayhem were at it again - with a vengeance!

The Norsemen again fielded a veritable battalion of hardened warriors including (in Division 1), Bjorn Skogstad, Elvind Opland and Roger Sandbergh driving Ford Sierra Cosworth RS 500s, Stelnar Joranii in an Opel Cadet GSi 16v with Bengt Ekstrom piloting a BMW M3. Division 2 contained the really quick men in the awesome supercars which are now banned from world championship rallying - Martin Schanche (Ford RS200), Matti Alamaki (Peugeot 205 T16E2), Herbert Breltender (Audi Quattro S1), Kjetil Bolneset (Ford Escort) - and Britain’s best Steve Palmer and Will Gollop - both driving mighty MG Metro 6R4s. Bjorn Skogstad proved a formidable opponent and provided some exciting moments in Division 1 events while as was to be expected, colourful Martin Schanche and the indomitable Matti Alamaki produced some excellent mobile ‘punch-ups’ in the Division 2 races.

All the best action from the ten round series is cleverly encapsulated into this one stunning video programme for you to enjoy and enjoy and enjoy!
