F1 1985 San Marino GP VHS - Description
A terrific race ruined by an over-dramatic conclusion at San Marino. One potential winner after another was robbed of victory by a variety of circumstances. Ayrton Senna fended off Michele Alboreto before running out of fuel. Stefan Johansson took over in the Ferrari then almost immediately went out with electrical trouble. Alain Prost then went to the front and crossed the line looking the winner. Then Elio de Angelis (JPS Lotus) was declared the winner. Finally Niki Lauda assumed third place at the garlanding ceremony, only to be placed fourth. This event had everything - the drama lingered even after the chequered flag had dropped.
