Special sequences filmed with a Formula One car inside the Lockheed wind tunnel at Marietta, Georgia, USA. The 1979 Grand Prix season was more than the turning point between two decades: it was the end of one motor racing era and the beginning of another... its thrust being engineering technology rather than driving technique. The Ferraris finished first and second in the World Championship, Jody Scheckter securing the title. Two of racing’s great names, Niki Lauda and James Hunt retired before the season's end.
