Round 4, Sunday, May 31st

After equalling Jackie Stewart's record of 27 Grand Prix wins when he won the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa Francorchamps, Marlboro-McLaren's reigning World Champion Alain Prost travelled to Monte Carlo on the verge of becoming the most successful driver in the history of Formula One. The cameras capture all the atmosphere of the Millionnaire's Playground on the shores of the Mediterranean as Prost strove for his fourth consecutive victory in the most glamorous and exotic of all Grand Prix venues. With 26 cars down to start instead of the usual 20, the traffic on the narrow street circuit was guaranteed to create difficulties for the hot men at the front. And after their celebrated clash at the previous round, Canon Will Honda's Nigel Mansell and Camel Lotus Honda's Ayrton Senna had little love for each other and were each determined to take victory.

This video gets behind the scenes to focus on the tactics employed to try to achieve victory in the direct glare of the massive publicity that the Monaco venue always engenders. View this tremendous film and be in Position A for the high-speed action.
