Two weeks after scoring his first Grand Prix victory at Brands Hatch, Nigel Mansell added a second win to his credit in South Africa. He drove a well-judged race to lead home a one-two victory for the Williams team, ahead of Keke Rosberg, who finished 7.5 seconds behind in the 75-lap race. The searing pace of the cars on the demanding circuit took its toll and, as this video shows, it was a survival test of the fittest.
