Although it’s now well over a decade since the largest crowd in the history of British drag racing enjoyed the 1989 BDRA Finals, time has done little to dim the tension and excitement of the spectacular duels that took place at Santa Pod during that memorable event. This review video, made at the time, captures all the scorching strip action and brilliant atmosphere that could only be created at Britain’s biggest drag meeting. The production values may now seem a little ‘Eighties’ but the sport and the spectacle remains untarnished!
