Jaguar at Le Mans 1956/1957 VHS - Description
For the five years in which the D-Types featured strongly at Le Mans, Random Film Productions were contacted by Jaguar Cars to record the cars' activities. 1956 saw another Jaguar D-Type victory but with the two works cars out of the race within the first hour, it was the Ecurie Ecosse car that took the honours. 1957, however, saw the total domination of Le Mans by Jaguar with the D-Types taking 1st, 2nd, 3rd 4th & 6th places - the climax of their assault on this famous event. This historic film captures the full atmosphere of the period in full colour.
