Introduction

Description

The 1986 WSC Norisring Sprint was a highly dramatic race, with Klaus Ludwig in the leading Joest Blaupunkt Porsche 956B and Eddie Cheever and Derek Warwick in the British Silk Cut Jaguars. Not for a moment was there any relaxation, the slightest slip was punished by the pursuing pack. As Hans Stuck so graphically described the occasion - 'It's good to be able to drive ‘balls out'!" Perhaps with the magical demonstrations of his father in the 700 bhp Auto Union's of the 1930s in mind, Stuck Jnr. can be seen in this programme with boost full on and driving his works Porsche on the limit within millimetres of the concrete walls of the Norisring.
