Description
The 1992 Le Mans 24 hour race was a surprise to everybody. Despite cynics suggesting that no cars would finish the race, it was in fact a near perfect performance from the Peugeot 905B of Derek Warwick, Mark Blundell and Yannick Dalmas that gained victory for Jean Todt’s French team. The race had everything though, and with the first half of the race run in dreadful conditions, there were plenty of incidents as well as some sensational early dicing between the Peugeots and the 1991 winning Mazda team of Herbert, Weilder and Gachot. Also do not forget Kenny Acheson, second for the second time in three years. Once again, the Radio Le Mans commentators saw it all.
