However, Raikkonen’s career so far has been blighted by mistakes and lacklustre performances.
In a career of highs and lows, 2007 was, without doubt, the pinnacle of success. In a year dominated by Lewis Hamilton, Raikkonen produced excellent performances and consistency to put himself within reach of the World Championship at the final race of the year.
During the 2007 Brazilian Grand Prix, the Finn was having one of his good days and produced a stunning drive to take victory and snatch the World Championship from under Hamilton’s nose.
