The Volvo effort was led by Thomas Lindstrom, Gianfranco Brancatelli and Johnny Cecotto, while BMW would feature Gerhard Berger, Emanuele Pirro and the man who would eventually be crowned the ‘86 champion, Roberto Ravaglia.
Plus, there were appearances from the Australian Holden team, featuring the legendary Peter Brock, and determined effort by Ford, with British driver Steve Soper.

"Door-banging action, appearances by stars names like 1967 F1 World Champion Denny Hulme, F1 ascendant Gerhard Berger and Aussie legend Peter Brock, not to mention sensational scenes from the classic, 8.7 mile Brno road course, make this a magnificent watch. The soundtrack is a bit dodgy, but this was 1986, when synth pop was in its prime, remember. It doesn't detract too much from a film that, oddly, given the standard of some of the F1 reviews of the mid-1980s, is actually well-produced and scripted, with narration from the authoritative Neville Hay" Autosport
