Jump on board the thrill ride that is Le Mans in this access-all-areas documentary. Directed by John L Matthews (GRAND TOUR D'EUROPE), the film takes you behind the scenes at one of the most exciting sporting events of the year, with incredible 200 miles per hour in-car footage and actual radio transmissions from the drivers. Inspired by the 1970 Steve McQueen classic LE MANS, it follows the story of Martin Short, a man who dreams of entering the Le Mans 24 hours--the hardest, most gruelling race in the world. He's up against some stiff competition in the form of giants Porsche and Audi... and his car's not even ready! Will he make it to the track on time?

"If you really want to know what the addiction is, start here. It's a fantastic story, brilliantly told, through the eyes of people who know exactly what Le Mans means. This really is what it feels like."
"Looking at Le Mans through their eyes rather the eyes of one of the mega-bucks factory teams is the inspired idea that gives this film such a brilliant behind the scenes insight. It's terrific, and I mean every word of it - it's a terrific piece of work!"

"This is a great film. It gives great insight into Le Mans, the World's Greatest Race, and the personal struggles to win at whatever level, whatever the budget. To finish is a major achievement. No other event shows man at such extremes of emotion, physical and mental strain with the extra element of danger thrown in. Truly well dramatised in this film."
Derek Bell MBE
"This is such an absorbing pair of programmes, I was fascinated the whole way through, without doubt the best documentary about Le Mans shot since the Speed Merchants."
"Lovely stuff. I can't recommend it more highly. In short it's bloody great - a good job well done. I'm really impressed
It's really a must have - in fact I'm going home to watch it again! (oh and the out take with shorty berating you is mega)'

"...it captures the tension, drama and sheer frustration of running a privateer race team at the Circuit de la Sarthe. Best bit is the DVD Extra, which includes a full onboard first lap."
