Joey Dunlop was out through injury but new pretender Steve Hislop not only equalled his and Hailwood's records by winning three races in one week but also pushed the outright lap record to over 121 mph! Scores of locations around the course reveal the true nature of this unique event and stunning aerial shots taken from over one mile above the Bungalow contrast with the view from road level on Bray Hill. In between race days there was also the usual hectic schedule of sideshow events which make the TT the 'world's greatest road-racing festival'.
