Friday 9th June 1989 - and some of the finest racing ever recorded on camera. Hot favourite and everybody’s hero Steve Hislop climbed aboard his 750 Honda 'rocket ship' and rode into the TT history books, closely followed by the likes of Nick Jefferies (750 Yamaha), Eddie Laycock (500 Honda) Robert Dunlop (750 Honda) and Dave Leach (750 Yamaha). By any standards it was a tough race and here you'll see some of the most hair-raising duels the Senior TT has ever seen!
