Monday 8th June 1988 - Sidecar B. Following their win in the Sidecar A, did Mick Boddice and Chris Birks make it a double? When the clutch cable snapped at Quarter Bridge on the first lap Mick must have thought he had blown his chances for a double. But did it deny Mick and Chas the glory? Wednesday 10th June 1988 - Junior TT. Could the CBR600 Hondas provide a challenge to the Grand Prix machines? Joey Dunlop (250 Honda) was the favourite, but you could not discount the super fast EMC's of Brian Reid and Eddie Laycock, both previous TT winners.
