Introduction

Description

The USA Motocross Championship is held over 13 rounds from California in the West to New York in the East. Jeff Emig was the dominant force in the championship. But John Dowd, Greg Albertyn, Jeremy McGrath and Doug Henry produced some great racing. Albertyn had speed but tended to crash! When he was fast he was very fast but when he crashed he went down hard. Henry's speed on the four-stroke Yamaha shocked a lot of people - not least his opponents. Elder statesman Dowd fought his way to the front in several motos. Features commentary from Art Eckman, David Bailey while Racer X editor Davey Coombes provides the snappy interviews.
