Motocross Des Nations 1999 VHS - Description
The 1999 Motocross des Nations was held at Indiatuba, Brazil, with the top teams in the world competing for the Chamberlain Trophy. The teams lined up with the USA as the favourites to regain the title from Belgium. It was not to be as Italy stormed to their first ever Motocross des Nations victory. The Italians boasted two World Champions (Chiodi and Bartolini) and one Vice-World Champion (Federici). Individual performances from Jamie Dobb in the 125 class where he took his Suzuki to 2nd overall and a double win for Stefan Everts in the 250 class meant that both Great Britain and Belgium were also in contention.
