Motocross 500 GP 1987 - France VHS - Description
After the mud bath which opened the 1987 World 500 cc Motocross Championship in Spain, competitors were glad to be able to get moving properly in the second round in France. Reigning champion Dave Thorpe (Honda) had led an all-conquering British contingent in Spain, but the other leading contenders were determined that things would be different next time out. As this video shows, the pace was fast and furious. The cameras capture all the thrills and excitement of the top class field slugging it out on the dry track with the crowds displaying all the fervour of an enthusiastic European gathering.
