Record crowds flocked to Farleigh Castle in Wiltshire for the 1985 British Motocross GP. Most were there to see if Britain's Dave Thorpe could maintain his lead in the world championship. Thorpe and Honda rival Andre Malherbe fought it out every inch of the way.
