Introduction

Description

THE 1991 500 Bike GP series started out at Suzuka, Japan, seemingly where the '90 season left off - with red-hot racing! Wayne Rainey (Yamaha) switched back to Dunlop to defend his title, with Kevin Schwantz (Suzuki) joining him on the Anglo-Japanese rubber. Honda Hotshots Wayne Gardner and Mike Doohan challenged all comers on Michelin, while Eddie Lawson moved to the Italian Cagiva team. John Kocinski, Didier de Radigues (Suzuki), Juan Garriga, Sito Pons, Jean Philippe Ruggia, Adrien Morillas plus US Superbike Champion Doug Chandler ensured a nailbiting start to the year. What took place is all here in one of the most stunning and surprise-filled videos this reviewer has ever seen.
