A 60,000 crowd came to the famous Silverstone Circuit to witness a classic head-to-head battle on the track between ace Honda teamsters Randy Mamola and Raymond Roche fighting to close the gap on Yamaha's championship leader Eddie Lawson. The crowd were not disappointed as they witnessed superbly close racing not only in the premier 500 class, but also in the 125, 250 and Sidecar classes as well! In fact it is almost impossible to keep count of how many times the lead positions in each class change during this drama filled programme. It's action all the way!!
